Aaj kal ki busy life mein, agar aapki balcony ya kitchen window par ek chhota sa herb garden ho na, toh trust me, life ekdum jannat aur khushbudar ban jati hai. Jab aap subah uthkar apni chaye ke liye fresh tulsi todte ho, ya sham ko daal ke tadke par dalne ke liye fresh dhania ki pattiya katte ho, toh uska sukoon aur swaad dono hi next level hote hain. Mujhe yaad hai jab maine pehli baar apni balcony mein pudina lagaya tha, toh lagta tha ki pata nahi chalega ya nahi, par jab woh chal pada toh poore ghar mein ek alag hi tazgi rehti thi.

Mitti Se Lekar Gamle Tak: Herb Garden Ka Basic Jugad

Isse pehle ki hum har ek herb ke baare mein detail mein baat karein, ek bahut zaroori nuskha jaan lo. Dosto, herbs ki mitti normal garden mitti se thodi alag honi chahiye.   • Sand ya Coco-peat (30%): Ret (sand) milane se mitti bhurbhuri banti hai jisse paani rukta nahi hai, aur coco-peat moisture ko hold karke rakhta hai.
Is mix se mitti halki rahegi aur paani niche se nikal jayega. Aur haan, gamle ke bottom mein drainage holes hona sabse zaroori hai. Agar holes band hain, toh unhe garm screwdriver se khol lo. Yeh chhota sa jugad aapke plant ko marne se bachayega.

1. Basil (Tulsi / Sweet Basil)

Watering Needs (Paani Ka Hisab-Kitab): Basil ki mitti hamesha moist honi chahiye, par daldal bilkul nahi. Ungli se mitti check karo, agar upar ki 1-inch mitti sookhi lage, tabhi paani do. Garmiyo mein ise roz subah paani chahiye hota hai. Overwatering se iske patte peele padne lagte hain aur plant mar jata hai.

Watering Needs (Paani Ka Hisab-Kitab): Pudine ko pani bahut pasand hai yaar. Ise dry soil bilkul pasand nahi. Agar mitti ek din bhi sookhi reh jaye, toh iske patte murjha jate hain. Isliye iski mitti ko hamesha moist rakhein, par drainage sahi ho taaki paani jam na ho. Roz thoda paani dena pudine ke liye ekdum best rehta hai.
